OpenRouter (@OpenRouter) launched Google Gemini 3.8 Flash at Gemini 3.7 Flash’s intro price, saying it beats its predecessor on the shown coding, finance, legal, video, and science benchmarks. Developers can route it now via OpenRouter.
OpenRouter announced Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5.1 is live on its routing platform as a direct upgrade for Fable 5 workloads. The biggest gains are called out in agentic coding, long-running workflows, visual code generation, finance, and analysis, and developers can call it via OpenRouter immediately.
Arena.ai (@arena) says Google DeepMind’s Gemini 3.8 Flash (High) put Gemini on the Agent Arena Pareto frontier for the first time: $0.75/$3.75 per MTok, ~$0.22 median cost per Agent Arena task with +5.94% net gain—on par with Grok 4.5 and GLM 5.2 (Max) at roughly 44–50% lower price.
OpenRouter also announces Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor is live as the cost-efficient tier for experimentation, learning, and early agentic/coding workflows. Listed around $0.10 in / $0.20 out per 1M tokens (vs ~$1.25/$4.25 on the standard tier); prompts and outputs may be used to improve Meta products.
