Alex (@0xpane) released nextjs-webmcp, a library on the WebMCP API that turns Vercel Next.js server actions into tools AI agents can call from the browser. One tool is claimed to take about three lines, with route-scoped tools running in the user session.
Marwan Atef (@Marwan_3atef) reported a CopilotKit product change: every useFrontendTool can opt into WebMCP so browser agents such as ChatGPT Atlas discover and call frontend tools instead of only screenshotting the page. Open-source dsh-ios (DeepSeek Harness plugin) wires the iOS Simulator and USB devices into the chat: 22 tools cover build, boot, logs, OCR, accessibility tree, and UI control, with a live sidebar for tap/drag. Device signing follows configurable Xcode teams and stays local with short-lived signatures; requires macOS and full Xcode (github.com/ZSeven-W/dsh-ios).
