Entire, led by ex-GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, launches a Git forge for agent-human collaboration: Trails replace PRs, pushes up to 89x faster than GitHub per its benchmarks
On Oct 26, Entire co-founder and CEO Thomas Dohmke announced on X and the company blog that Entire is live as "the Git forge for agent-human collaboration." It has three parts: Trails, which replace diff-based review with eval scores computed on every push; Git-compatible distributed hosting that can replicate across regions or mirror from GitHub; and Continuous Memory, which stores agent sessions in the repo. Buildkite and Depot are the first CI integrations, and it is open to any developer today.

GitHub open-sources ReviewBench, a 219-PR benchmark for AI code review: Copilot, Devin and Qodo lead; Cursor's grounded recall is 9.6%
GitHub's blog post ReviewBench (Oct 5, 2026) launches an offline AI code-review benchmark as a research preview. It has 219 PRs from 187 open-source repos in 19 languages, sampled to match the distribution of 103.9M GitHub PRs. The golden set combines human reviewers, several frontier LLMs and static analysis. Claude Sonnet 5 is the judge, and senior engineers agreed with its labels 96.6% of the time. On the leaderboard, grounded recall is 26.0% for Copilot Code Review (Balanced), 23.8% for Devin, 22.1% for Qodo and 9.6% for Cursor. The dataset, judge prompt and runner are MIT-licensed on GitHub.

Anthropic Launches Message Threads in Public Beta on the Messages API: Server-Side Conversations Cut Claude Code TTFT About 35% on 500K-1M Token Requests
On November 2 (US time) Anthropic put message threads into public beta on the Messages API (beta header message-threads-2026-08-12). The API keeps the conversation on the server: the first request sends the full conversation and creates a thread, and each later request sends only new messages plus the previous response id. Anthropic says threads are on by default for most Claude Code users, cutting median time to first token by about 35% on 500K-1M token requests, while the median long-conversation request shrank from about 800 KB to 1.8 KB. Threads expire after 5 idle minutes; pricing and rate limits are unchanged.
