OpenAI announced that GPT-6 Sol and Luna roll out today in ChatGPT Work, Codex, and the API. They bring much of GPT-6 Astra’s strengths into faster, more affordable models, with API prices 50% lower than GPT-5.6 promotional pricing. Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu users get both; Free and Go users can try Luna in the desktop app.
Elon Musk announced that the Grok bot is now in Tesla. With Connectors, drivers can manage an inbox, clean up a calendar, or talk through existing files, chats, and tasks hands-free.
Anthropic announced that Claude Opus 5.5 is available today, the first model in the new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 on most tasks and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.
